Amanda Barrell
Preschool Assistant
Amanda has worked with the Playgroup since 2012 and returned in April 2021 after a short break. She is working 1 full day and 1 morning per week and provides cover for other staff as necessary.
Amanda has a Level B Safeguarding certificate, PREVENT, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and has attended numerous Early Years courses via the LEA/EAS and other EY training providers, including the new NMS Early Years Curriculum for Wales training.
She helps deliver the “Learning through play” curriculum to the children and enjoys developing the children’s interests through craft work, cookery activities and outdoor learning opportunities.
